Necklace

Wanted to show you a necklace that I finished last night while the kids were at Bible School (it's amazing how much you can get done without interruptions ;))  Anyway, I really like how it turned out.  You can check it out HERE on my website.

I got some new frit blends and am lovin' the results.  I especially love this first one with the golds and brown.  It has some goldstone in it which really gives it some sparkle.  I put the bead sets on sale for this week only from $40 down to $33.  I can't wait to design with this yellow/brown set!

Wednesday's Sets on sale!!!

This is some glass I kind of forgot about as it is made from a different company.  I don't have a ton of it, but enough to make a few sets.  Love both of these.  The first is made with brown and a pinkish color.  Looks great with andalusite.  The second is a nice blue and brown.  Both sets will retail for $40, but are on sale today for $30!  (glass is a little more expensive than others)

Tuesday's special sale set ~ this has been a popular style, this time I made with with a fun blue, called leaky pen.  This bead has a white base with transparent leaky pen, a twistie with black and raku and raku powder frit.  7 beads measure 15mm.  On sale for $25.

Week of Sales

Throughout the week I will be posting some sets on sale.  Each day I will have a new set (or 2) that will range from $25 to $30 (that is up to $10 off a set.)  Each of the sets will be a new set that is not on my website yet (except for this first set.)  In the comments box you can leave me a note to hold the order until the end of the week (if you think you might by more) so you can pay for shipping only once.

I few new designs I have been working on.  I just love the last necklace with those metallic black beads.  I put some copper with them and think that necklace turned out nice.

You might remember this set I made for my mother in law for helping with the kids while I went to the bead and button show.  Well, I finally made some more beads like that to put on my website.  I also added a super fun set of dichroic on black crystals.

Ipod Touch for sale ~ Brand New

I have a second generation ipod touch that I am going to sell.   Apple is doing a promo that teachers and students get a free ipod touch with a purchase of a new computer.  I bought a Macbook Pro (I can't wait to get it on Friday)  I love everything Apple, well really all digital stuff, but especially products made by Apple.  Anyway, I already have an ipod touch, and love it, so I am going to sell this one.  It is an 8gb, 2nd generation ipod touch.  Can get a picture of it later if you need it.  They retail for $230, send me an email if you are interested.  I will probably list it on ebay, but thought I would mention it here first.

Lots of new beads added these last couple days.  Hope you are enjoying them!  Hopefully I will get some torch time this week, but as you can imagine it is a little ore difficult with 4 little children home for the summer.

The last set of these sold right away, but I did have a little bit of glass yet to make another set.  I just added it to me website.  I was able to get out yesterday and get some pictures, so be looking for those soon.

Jonas Bros

The weather here hasn't been the best, so therefore I haven't been able to take any pictures of new beads.  I do have a fun picture to show you though.  My sister and mom went to a Jonas Brothers concert (I am sure anyone with little girls has heard of this band)  Anyway she won a pass for a meet and greet to see them in person.  She has been a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers before they were even well known, so this was really a dream come true for her.  Cute picture Huh ?!?!

Coolest beads ever

I am loving this glass!  I have had this glass for awhile, but could never get the colors to pop like I had seen it was suppose to do.  It is a very expensive glass (all of these colors come from one rod of glass!), so I didn't play with it too much because I didn't want to waste it.  I got it out again the other day and WOW!!!  I finally got the colors I was hoping for.  This is amazing and I love the beads so much.  I only have 1 rod left and will be ordering some more soon.  Grab this set while you can.  I had to make a pair of earrings right away with it.

A few days ago I put on a picture of my bead board with a project I was working on. I finished it over the weekend and here it is.  It is so hard to get a good photo, but the colors look great together.  There is also a pair of matching earrings.

Hope everyone had a great 4th.  Here in Iowa it was rainy and cold.  Sure didn't seem like the 4th this year with the weather and the fact it was on a Saturday.  We were able to enjoy the fireworks, so it ended good.
