No new beads today, but wanted to share a couple new publications that have some of my work.  The first is a new book published by Martingdale & Company.  I have 4 pairs of earring in the book.  I really like this book and it has a lot of great inspiration for new earring designs.

I also have a necklace ~ pictured below ~ in the January 09 issue of Bead Trends magazine.  I haven't had time yet to sit down and study this issue yet, but from what I have flipped through and seen, it looks like a great magazine.

One more to go...

We have one more Christmas today, birthday party tomorrow night and the actual birthday on Monday, couple days of rest, then New Year's Eve.  I hope everyone had a terrific Christmas and the weather wasn't too bad where you are.  If anyone got some jewelry or beads from me for Christmas I would love to hear from you.  I always wonder on Christmas how many times I was talked about ~ hopefully good ~ after someone opens a gift I made.  Have a great weekend!

I am sure you all can relate to this crazy, busy time.  I am working hard to stop and enjoy my surroundings and not be so stressed out.  I am getting to that point as my xmas shopping is done, 2 out of the 3 birthday's are over and xmas is almost here.

I am excited to get working on beads again.  I have some great ideas for some new designs and can' wait to share them with you.  Hope you enjoy these new beads I just posted on my website.

BRRRR

Sure is a cold one today, high of only 4 degrees!  We had a crazy busy weekend again.  Friday night we went to see our new baby niece, which was a lot of fun.  I haven't held a newborn baby in such a long time.  The girls were so cute with her.  Saturday Justin and I went shopping to get some more xmas and bday presents, which was insane.  I need to remind myself NEVER to go to the mall on the weekends before xmas.  Spent most of the time standing in line and bumping my way through the isles.  Sunday was Jayla's 9th birthday.  We had her and Amerah's family birthday party last night, then next Sunday which is Amerah's birthday we will have the girl friends over for a party.  Can you tell what theme they choose?  Wonder women ~ don't ask me why as they have never even seen wonder women before.  The third picture is Amerah getting excited over a present Jayla was opening.

Sorry no bead pictures.  I need to get some taken and posted.  I also wanted to mention if there are any scrapbookers out there, I am selling my sizzix die cut machine with a ton of die cuts.  Email me if you are interested rediger@netins.net and I will send you some pictures.  Otherwise I will list on ebay.  Have a great week!

A couple sets I just added to the website.  I have about 10 new bent beads, just need to get them photographed.  The kids are off from school today because of icy roads, so we'll see what I can get done today.

A couple pictures of the kids playing in the snow last week.  I think it's suppose to snow some more, so the kids will be excited for that.

Well, I just finished my last show for the year, and must say that I am kind of excited and relieved.  Now I can focus more on making some new beads, my website and xmas.

Make sure to sign up for my newsletter if you haven't yet.  I might be sending out a coupon soon :)

I have had a few emails asking about when I might have some new bent beads.  I will try yo get some more of those up on the website soon.

Kind of windy today...

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We had a great meal and a wonderful time with our family.  Such a fun time of year!  Friday and Saturday I went to Galena beads for a trunk show ~ what a great time.  I can't say enough about how wonderful the store owner, Trish and her daughter, Jess were, not to mention the rest of the family.  The store was so nice, organized and artsy.  I am sure many of you have seen Jess's work in magazines with the Vintaj findings and amazing sense of design.  Her story is amazing as well, how she started this bead store, worked with some other ladies in starting up Vintaj and now the newest addition Vintaj Earth, which down the street from Galena Beads.  When I walked in that store I was speechless.  It is super cool!!!!  I could go on and on, but am just going to highly recommend that if you ever get a chance to go to Galena, or have a day with nothing to do (we all have those, right:)  GO TO GALENA!!!  The food is amazing as well.  It is the cutest little town ever and a great scenic drive.  I am so excited to see what Jess, Trish, Megan and Wendy make with the beads they bought.  Thanks again ladies for a great time.  I also want to give a shout out to Mary who drove from Chicago.  Thanks so much Mary!!!!  Can't wait to see what you make as well.

All right guys, I feel kind of bad for my blog friends, because this is going to be a boring week for you.  I do have some flower focals to post pictures of, but other than that, nothing new this week.  I have one last show for the year this weekend at the Iowa City Memorial Union that I will be getting ready for.  Not to mention I REALLY need to start thinking about bday presents for the girls, xmas, xmas cards, custom orders, the list goes on.  I do need to also update the website to reflect what I have on hand after the show.

Have a great week!
