Spring Flowers

Getting ready for my show tomorrow in Waterloo at Bead Happy. Just got done listing on my website these new flowers. I also got my shipment of silver and updated all the silver. I did get a few new styles, but won't get those up until next week.

A few necklaces and bracelets that I have made. Also have 10 or so pair of earrings to show. Will do that tomorrow.

For Starters

Got all my pictures taken this afternoon and edited tonight. Now time for bed... Did want to show a few of the boro sets that I made. I have a bunch of flower beads, pandora beads and sets to add. I am teaching school Wednesday, but will get them listed soon.

Bad Blogger

So sorry for the lack of posts. I was super busy last week, then when I was ready with some items to photograph, it was rainy. The sun is shining today and I have LOTS to photograph.

I will be doing a trunk show this Saturday at Bead Happy in Waterloo. It will be May 1st from 10-5. Would love to see some of you there.

I placed my order for silver (FINALLY) and should have that at the end of the week. Check back for photos soon.

Beads 2010

So excited!!!! (although I can't take too much credit) This new magazine Beads 2010 just came out and some of my beads are in it! These pictures aren't the best, but you can kind of see the article a little. This lovely necklace was created Jess Italia Lincoln using Vintaj findings. It is so rewarding to see what people make with my beads, even more fun when it is in a magazine!!!! Thanks Jess for including some of my beads in your necklace! This is a great magazine by the way, showcasing many new beads and findings.

I am on my way to teach this afternoon, but wanted to show these really quick. Love the way the sets came out. I am thinking of so many colors to try this in. Can't wait to design with some of these...

Springtime

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. We sure did.

Some of you might remember that I had mentioned my fear of having my wisdom teeth out, and you were kind to send me some messages. Well, I am happy to say I made it through! I had it done on Friday and so far everything is going really well. I did cry a little in the chair and will admit was super nervous, maybe even a baby about it. I have had little swelling and really no pain. I wasn't able to sleep at all on Friday after the surgery, or that night. I would close my eyes and my mind would race and think of all sorts of things. On Saturday I was super tired and wondered if it wasn't the pain pills they put me on ~ Vicodin. I stopped taking that and all is well. I am super hungry though and can't wait to eat some food ~ REAL food. My step mother made an awesome meal yesterday and it was hard to not eat it all!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF IT!!! Below are some pictures of the kids dying Easter Eggs and the easter egg hunt at my dad's.
