Well, got the kids off to their first day of school. I didn't cry and it wasn't as hard as it has been in the past. I think when I take Lukin next week to preschool and will be alone, that's when it will hit me. This is last year's "1st day of school picture" wanted to compare it to the one below and see how they had changed.

We had a great weekend, although with school beginning tomorrow, it seems like this was our last summer weekend. I know it will still be warm out, but it's not the same. We went to the pool for the last time yesterday, then had movie night and watched Nanny McPhee. Time to start a busy week with the Back to School Ice Cream Social tonight. I have my first subbing days lined up, so it is back to reality. No more sleeping in until 9:00 ;(

Mercy Me/Newsboys Concert & SALE

Here are some pictures from the other night at the Iowa State fair when I took the girls to the Mercy Me/Newsboys concert. We had a great time!!! I just love their music and message. The pictures aren't the best because we were pretty high up, but you can see them. Jayla saw this bungee jumping thing, so of course she wanted to give it a try!

Yesterday I said that I was gonna post some jewelry today ~ wrong. I made these the other day and couldn't wait to show them. I just love the lavendar set, and the red/pink set!!! I will save the jewelry for another day!!!

I had a GREAT time last night at the Newsboys/Mercy Me concert. I just love their music and the atmosphere was so fun. The state fair was super hot, but I didn't even think about it at the concert. I took my 2 oldest daughters who are 10 and 8. I think it was a good experience for them. Although they were more entertained with the couple behind us dancing and jumping up and down ;) We didn't get home until 1:45, haven't been up that late in awhile. Girls are still sleeping at 10. I guess they should enjoy it now because in a another week those days are over ;(

Metal Capped Beads

Got some metal capped beads made yesterday. I also have a new system to make them, which takes less time so I lowered the price to $30 a bead.

Also, I am needing a few things from Vintaj, but can't spend the wholesale price of $200 right now. Does anyone need anything and want to split an order? Let me know if you do.

I am off this afternoon to see Mercy Me and Newsboys at the Iowa State fair. I LOVE Mercy Me and am really excited. I haven't been to a concert forever, might have even been Whitney Houston on grade school. How sad is that ? Hope I can survive the heat!!! I will have some jewelry to show tomorrow!
