One week later

So sorry it has been one week since I posted...  This is a super busy time of year with subbing at the school, the kids ball, school activities and shows.  So much to think about, plus making sure I have everything in line for the Bead and button show.  Not sure how  many postings I will be doing this next month (can you believe it's only a month or so until June)  Anyway, here are some more pictures from last week.  Nothing new this week yet...

The day is turning into another cloudy and windy one, but I did manage to get a few pictures.  Here are a few of my favorites.  More to come...

Not Happin'

So the nice sunny day we started out with quickly turned to a windy cloudy day, so I got no pictures.  Hoping to get some today...

No beads, just prom

but, I will have some beads later today.  Have lots to take pictures of and it's a beautiful sunny day. 

This last Saturday was prom, so I took the girls to the grand march.  Our niece Moriah (in the blue) was there and my sister Kristyn (in the yellow went as well).  They both looked amazing!

New shapes

I ordered a couple new bead presses and got a chance to check them out.  The tab shape is larger and thinner than I had before, which I really like.  I think it is a great shape to design with.  The second is a different size for the round beads, much larger.

I also added another show that I will be doing May 2nd.  I will be at Bead Happy in Waterloo on May 2nd from 10-5.

New focals

Here are some new focals I will be adding to the website.  I am loving these little murrini's that I added to the beads.  Most of the beads have a base color, encased in clear with stringer's of silver glass that gave it a metallic shine.

Hodge Podge

Today I have a mix of all sorts of things...

A new curved focal...
A pair of blue boro cubes
A bright fun nugget set
Black and blues nugget set
A necklace that I made for my brother in law to give to his wife.  He wanted something in green and black and we came up with this.  I think it turned out great.

I also added about 25 new bent beads to the website ~ go check them out.
