Here is the other part of our exciting weekend last week...

Last Saturday night we had our family birthday party for Jayla and Amerah. Justin was gone all day, they thought he was helping his brother in Des Moines and would be back right in time for the party. Really he drove 5 hours to get this little puppy by Sioux City and 5 hours home. We had our family here and I lined the kids up and told them daddy really wasn't in Des Moines, that he was building something for them for Christmas and was gonna bring it in. They were so giddy with excitement. Justin had her in his coat and brought her in. I videotaped their reaction and hope to figure out how to download it on utube or something. It was great and so worth all the effort and work. They have had the best weekend and keep thanking us for this little dog. I think we have come to a conclusion on a name ~ NALA. (like the lion on Lion King) ME ~ I am not so excited, but she sure is growing on me. I think it will be ok after we get this potty training thing down. How fun! Enjoy the pictures! Birthdays Galore

Lots of excitement going on at our house, as I am sure everyone is busy and has fun activities happening. Last Friday night we had a skating party for all 3 girls for their birthdays. All 3 of them have birthday's in December. Jayla turned 11 on the 14th, Amerah turned 9 on the 21st and Cana will turn 7 on the 29th. We usually have 3 separate parties with their friends, but this year I decided to rent the skating rink and do one party with ALL their friends. We invited all their classmates and had a great turnout. Think we had 75 little friends and parents skating. Was a blast and the girls had a great and memorable time. Oh boy, what a last couple weeks. So sorry for the lack of blogging. I am just pressing through all these beads orders. I am down to 4 left!!!! Yippee!!!! Thank you all so much for being patient with me. I had to order some new glass as I ran out. My website is looking pretty sad with now. I don't remember it looking so bare before, which is a great thing for me (probably not you, sorry ;) I am looking forward to getting some time to play and stocking the website up with some great new sets!

Planning the girls bday parties. Those of you who have followed me for awhile know what a busy month Decemeber is at our house. We have all 3 girls' bdays in December. This year I am doing something a little different. We are combining all 3 bday's this year and having a BIG skating party next Friday night. Should be a fun time. We invited lots of friends and family's and all 3 girls classes at school. Have lots to do to get ready for all those kids ;) AND we got the kids a special Christmas gift this year that I can't wait to share with you, but that will have to wait a little.

Black Friday Deal

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!!!! We have so much to be thankful for.
I have been running through some specials/sales in my head the last few weeks, trying to figure what I can offer. I wish I could give away lots of beads, but obviously I still have bills to pay and groceries to buy :) I am just so thankful for all I have been blessed with and this gift I have been given that I can share with you all. AND if you spend over $100 you will get a special set of beads for FREE, valued at $35. I don't usually make sets like this one, but love that youcan just use them randomly here and there. Most of them are matte, a couple rolled in pixie dust, etc. A really nice, rustic set. All you need to do it add it to your cart if you have over $100. Successful Show!

THANKS so much to everyone who came to my open house. It went great and had over 70 people show up. I so appreciate every single person who came. Now this Sunday I am doing a home show at a friends house, so I have lots of jewelry to restock (which is a good problem to have;) I am working on a little something for my lampwork customers though, so stay tuned for a surprise later on.

New Necklaces

Had a great weekend, hope you did as well. I had my last trunk show of the season at Bead Happy and found some fun beads to make some necklaces with. Yesterday I made 5 new necklaces (pictures below) Jayla and I also got my studio set up for my open house this weekend. That is a huge relief, now I can focus on making some more jewelry. Hope some of you can make it. Reminder, it is Friday from 3-7 and Saturday from 10-1.

Halloween pics

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a fun Halloween. The kids had a blast at their Halloween parties at school, then off to get dressed up Saturday night to go trick or treating. The weather was terrific and we could just walk around the neighborhood without their coats. So nice!!! Not sure how much I will get to the blog this week. I am teaching school this afternoon and for the next three days. I have Friday to work on beads/jewelry for my last 2 upcoming shoes although the kids don't have school that day, so we'll see how much gets done that day ;)
