quick post

A quick post to show you a necklace I just finished. I used some beads I got over the weekend at Bead Haven and a pmc toggle made by Cris. Love the way it turned out. Will be back later with some sets...

Good times...

Thanks so much for everyone who came to Bead Haven this weekend. Had a great time! It's always so fun there and great to see familiar faces. Would love to see what you guys make with the beads you bought. I didn't get a lot of pictures (and forgot to get one of me) but I did snap a few. The 1st one is a good view of the store and the owner Cindi (she has the long blonde hair), the 2nd one is my little corner of the store with all my beads, the 3rd one is Cris, her assistant Susan ;) (Suzi) and her awesome PMC pieces, and the last two are a couple more of my setup.

I am off to teach for some Kindergarten children on Monday, but hope to have some new beads up soon. Have a great Monday! Looking forward to some warm weather this week. May even hit 80!!! That is not a type-o ~ how fun.

Happy Hump Day

Sorry, this has kind of been a slow week for the ole blog. I am still getting ready for my show this weekend in Cedar Rapids, so not much to be added to the website this week. I did get a new press last week and love this new disks shape. Made a couple sets with some metallic glass.

Also made a new necklace with one of my flower beads. I used Vintaj brass and various matching beads.

Just added some new pandora beads and a few "buy by the bead" beads. I am off to teach some 5th graders on Friday, but have more to add to the website over the weekend. Have a great one!!!!

What I have been working on...

I feel like I haven't been paying as much attention to my blog ad website as I normally do, but this is the reason why... Look at this pile of beads! I have a show next weekend at Bead Haven in Cedar Rapids. I am also getting a shipment ready to ship to Main Street Beads in Sun Prairie WI. They are going to the Art and Glass Show in Madison and taking my beads.

I am going to be adding some pandora beads to the website later...

What a beautiful Sunday!!! I am so ready for spring. I did get some pictures taken today of some focals and pandora beads. I will be adding them throughout the week. Here are a couple necklaces I made. The 1st one is in shades of yellow, orange and red with Vintaj brass findings.

Lovin this weather...

Got out for a nice walk yesterday. Loved every minute of it, but know it looks like rain for the next few days. Haven't had much sun this week, but yesterday it did come out for a little while and I got to snap a few pictures. A couple new sets, which I just love. I made this necklace with one of them. I have never bought beads at Michaels before, but went last week and stocked up on some bright spring colors. I just love this long necklace. Here are the beads listed on my website

Boro Nuggets

Not sure why I haven't done this before... I made some nuggets with boro glass. They took a little longer than using soft glass, but I love the results. I can picture some awesome necklaces made with these. Hope you are having a great weekend. Seems to be warming up ;)

New stormin

A new stormin set with a blue/aqua tone. Also a new set with the AWESOME purple color. That glass is all gone for now, so this is the last set. Working on my website tonight...

Necklace

Wanted to show a new necklace I made the other day using some Vintaj findings. I have some more pictures to post, but I have a little guy who is REALLY wanting to play Playhouse Disney, so I will be back with those later. Have a great Tuesday!
