Here are a couple sets I just got added, have quiet a few more. With the kids home thought things take a lot longer, so I will update in small amounts ;) Love the fun summer colors in these sets!

Lots to say...

A few necklaces I have made. I really need to update the jewelry section on my website this week. That is my goal. I feel like we have been running since school has gotten out, but this week looks much more relaxed, so hopefully I will have time for that this week. We will be leaving for the Dells this weekend for a week, so make sure to place your orders soon so I can get them shipped. Oh, which reminds me, I sent out a newsletter last week about a sale on my flower focal beads. I am offering them on sale this week for $22, that is a savings of $6. Just type the word Flower in the coupon box. I will run the sale until Friday. IF you buy more than one, I will refund you the difference (or not charge your credit card)

Ok, here is the necklaces. The first one is blues with one of my focal flowers.

This next one I made for my step mom and mother in law for helping me with the kids while I was at the Bead and Button. I got lots of those beads at the show and it was fun designing with them.

This one I made using Vintaj brass. I donated it this weekend to an auction at a benefit for our nephew we had on Saturday night. It raised $230 (or close to) I was beyond happy with that!!!! I was worried no one would bid on it :) It was great. That is a lampwork green ring I made. I had several of those at the bead and button show and they sold really well. Might think about adding them to the website. I will definitely make another necklace similar to this one soon.

I do have some new beads to post, so check back. I got my new frits and glass the other day. Haven't had a lot of time to play with them, but soon. Have a great week!

This last week at the bead and button show I heard a few times that people enjoyed my blog. That was so encouraging to me, because I feel like I am the worst blogger EVER!!! I also heard that you enjoyed the pictures of the kids, so here ya go. Here are a few pictures of some summer fun.

If there is a downside to doing the Bead and Button it would be coming home and inventorying my website. I have to go through everything and see what sold out and what I still have. I hadn't been taking many pictures lately of what I made, knowing I was taking it to the show, so I have LOTS of flowers and focals to photograph and add to my website. As you can see by the pictures below, I have a lot of work to do.

Every year is so different, ya never know what is gonna sell. Last year I sold LOTS of flowers, so I made a lot of flowers to take, 106 to be exact. Only sold a few this year. The round sets, focals (nugget and curved) and bent beads were the popular things this year. Needless to say, I have lots of flowers to add and was thinking of having a little sale on them. What do you think????

So in all the busy-ness of the Bead and Button show, I did find some time to do some shopping. Bought some beads from North Lake Trading, The Bead Goes On, Dakota Stones, some seed bead mixes from Out on a Whim and a few others.

Traded some beads with Heather from Humble Beads. Love her polymer beads. Got a lucite flower mix and something from Lily Studios.
AND some shards from Avenue Beads. I use these to make beads. Make a bead and lay these thin layers of glass on top to make cool designs.

Home again

I am home from the Bead and Button show. I had a TERRIFIC time, but am so happy to be home. I sold lots of beads and met lots of wonderful people. It was so fun to see some of you that have ordered from me online, to finally put a face with that familiar name. I also did some shopping and love all my goodies. Need to get the house in order a little, then I will be back to post some pictures of what I bought and some I took of my setup.

Bead and Button

Getting ready to head out tomorrow to the Bead and Button Show tomorrow morning. I was gonna post some pics of what I am taking, but it is almost midnight and i haven't packed yet. YIKES!!! How does this always happen to me. I will definitly be taking some pictures while I am there and post when I get home. Of course I will be doing some shopping of my own and will post my goodies for you all to see. Until next week...
