A few things I have yet to add to the website.  I made a bunch of new pandora beads as you can see in the picture below.  A set made with black and goldstone, a hollow bead set and a couple new curved focals.  Have a great 3 day weekend!

A little bit of this, a little bit of that...

This week is going by so quickly.  With some of the kids in school, my days go a little faster, plus I am running around a little more.

I added a few things to the website.  A new set of bright wonderful purple beads, some earrings, a couple pandora beads and some pair of earrings.  Yesterday I worked with boro, and made some more earring sets, and pandora beads.  Those will have to wait until tomorrow or the weekend as it is cloudy and rainy today.  Have a good one!

1st day of Preschool

Today Cana started Preshool.  I wasn't sure how it would go because she is VERY shy and almost melts when someone she doesn't know talks to her.  This morning she was so brave, I was so proud of her.  She went in the room, got her "mail", hung up her bookbag and started playing.  I had to beg for a hug, in fear she would miss some of her "play kitchen" time.  Can't wait to pick her up in a few hours and hear all about it!

A couple new capped beads I think you will like (or hope you do)  I made some clear hollow beads and filled them with some glitters.  Having been a preschool teacher for a few years, the one thing I would avoid at all costs is glitter.  I would substitute for something else, or not do the craft all together if it called for glitter.   I REALLY don't like it, so I hope you can really appreciate the work I put into this second bead, knowing how I feel about glitter.  I think they are pretty cool.

Sun come out!

I have about 6 new capped beads, 6 new flower beads and a few new bent beads to add to the website, BUT the sun needs to come out first.  Hopefully I will be back with pictures,  but it looks like this might be a cloudy day.

Capped Beads

I added a few more capped beads to the website.  I am not sure if I have mentioned this or not, but I have a few pieces of jewelry coming out in a magazine.  The magazine is Bead Trends and it will be the Nov/Dec issue.  I have 2 necklaces in it and 1 bracelet.  One of the necklaces has one of these capped bead.  I am super excited to see how it turns out!

And they're off...

Well, today was the first day of school for the 2 older ones.  Jayla (on the right) will be in 3rd grade and Amerah will be in 1st.  Cana will start Preschool on Monday.  Every year you hear over and over "where did summer go" and "summer went so fast", but really, it is amazing how fast it zooms by.  Seems like I was just posting on my blog their pictures from the last day of school.  It will sure be different today with out them.  I am sure the 2 little ones will be lost...

Fun Fun...

Look at this BLUE!!!!  I mentioned that I got some new glass and this blue was one of them.  I hope you can tell from the picture what an amazing blue this is.  When I got them out of the kiln, I was so excited that it stayed as blue as it did.  I used some gray and aqua.  These crystals match perfectly as well.

Here are some fine silver rings that I fused and hammered.  They are great for so many things...  Earrings, links in bracelets or necklaces.  Here is a simple necklace that I made using a couple rings.  I will add them to the website.

Lots and Lots and Lots of pictures

Here is a new necklace I made with one of the focal flower beads.  I am happy with how it turned out, although in the picture the flower looks like it should be the center, but is off a little.  I actually made it so that the flower is off to the side.

Yesterday I got a shipment of 21 lbs of glass, some new colors.  How fun!!!!!  The ideas are rolling for new color combinations, so make sure to keep checking back.  I am starting to think fall colors, so many of the more springy sets will be coming off my website, and fall sets added.  Here are a couple to start with.  I love the first set with the browns and grays.  Not a combination I would like I would like, but love the earthy-ness of it!

No new beads to show ~ yet...  I have been working on a few sets though.  Thanks to all who ordered and received a flower bead.  Now please let me know what you think.

I added a new show that I will be doing in September.  I will doing a trunk show in Wisconsin at Meant to Bead.  It's a show I have never done before, but am really looking forward to it.

I deleted all the flower beads that are gone, so what you see is what is left.

I have to keep saying that in my head.  I love making them, but now it's time to send them off to you and work on other things.  This will be all for the flowers.  I added a picture of what one looks like on some leather.  Let me know if you have any feedback or questions.
