What cha think???

Here are some of the new boro sets I have been working on.  I bought a tutorial from Catherine Ondrey on using different colors.  So I ordered some new glass and started playing around.  I love the look of beads that aren't perfectly round.  Seems like that would be easy yo make, but surprisingly it wasn't.  I worked too hard to make them look "natural" but it was fun.  Please let me know what you think and if you like the shapes (which of these sets it your favorite?).  I need feedback to know what you guys like and what I should make.  I will pick a lucky winner who will win some beads.

Have a great weekend!

Oh Melissa,
I'm in BIG trouble now! LOVE those beads. Um, not one set, but all of them! Good job!!! I better sell some jewelry so I can save up some money to send your way!! Great work! :)

I posted before I even read your post! I just commented on the pictures. To answer your question, I love the abstract shapes. I'm a BIG fan of Catherine Ondrey's beads, and now that she is not selling them anymore I'd say you did a great job with her tutorial! Love the greens/browns and the blues but I also love that set with the vibrant multicolors. That is a great shape also, seems like it would be fun to incorporate into designs. :)

I really love the organic shape. I would love to see them in summer colors like the coral and sea blue shades since that is where my mind is now! Some greens too! I would also like to see different sizes. I like to use these shapes for charm bracelets and the larger ones are just too clunky for some customers. The smaller size works well for them but the larger are great for wire bracelets as focals so~both please. Great work!

Thanks guys!!!

I have seen lots of bracelets with these types of beads and love the way they look. I am sure that you could make something beautiful ~ as you always do.

Boro glass doesn't come in the bright summery colors, although I so wish it would. I could maybe try it with my other glass and see how that turns out. Different sizes is a great idea. I will give it a try.

Thanks to those who have emailed me privately as well. I appreciate the feedback! Will choose someone soon to receive some beads.

Melissa...I love the new direction! The organic shape adds an added dimension to your beautiful beads. I like the look of all of them and think there is a place in your collection for each style. As you know, I got one of the new shaped boro sets and they are simply beautiful!
I just saw the beads posted today (Monday) and love the new fun colors...I would love to see them paired with brights instead of pastels.
I can't wait to see what new goodies you come up with. Deedee
